The Victorian Government has committed to build ten community hospitals close to major growth areas These community hospitals will improve the way public healthcare is delivered in suburban and regional Victoria, providing more access to in-demand services, closer to home
The Cranbourne Community Hospital is located at 65 Berwick-Cranbourne Road in Cranbourne East.
The Whittlesea Community Hospital is located on the Corner of Riverdale street and Flourmill Drive Mernda.
The expanded hospital features
- New urgent care
- 32 bed inpatient and maternity unit
- 2 operating theatres and recovery spaces
- Day medical centre with imaging and pathology services
LaTrobe Regional Hospital Expansion
The third stage expanded the maternity unit and delivered three operating suites, 44 inpatient beds and 14medical and surgical beds.
There are also six new intensive care unit beds, a new emergency resuscitation bay, medical imaging and pathology unit.
The expansion also includes a $6.5million six-bed emergency department mental health, alcohol and other drugs hub.
The second stage of the Northern Hospital expansion delivered three new operating theatres, including one hybrid theatre. It also added 96 acute inpatient beds, a 28-bed intensive care unit, and a 10-bed cardiac care unit.
The facility consists of 18 levels including 7 levels of commercial office space, conference facilities, common facilities and 9 levels of leading-edge laboratories and cleanrooms.
Smart Manufacturing Hub is located on the Monash University campus building 69.
New provision of Compressed air, Oxygen and nitrogen systems serving the new ground floor and level 1 Co-Lab fit out.
New Tenancy located at 510 Church Street Cremorne the fit out consists of
